First there was Peggy, this was somewhere around 1966. I guess she drove the tree home!
The next dog in my family was William, I guess he was pretty cool. Here is having his Christmas stocking somewhere in the early 1970s.
There was a dog named Gilda, that overlapped her time with William. Here they are tired on Christmas, see the portrait by William on the couch, that was what one human gave the other that year.
We've always had cats, usually three or four of them. This pigsture was from the 1970s. Right now we have FIVE cats. You know how I spell respect? C A T.
The next dog was Abby, who came in 1985. This pigsture was taken in 1986 in her living room, my family lived in Ithaca New York then. Abby came from the Ithaca SPCA and took a lot of human obedience classes in the Ithaca Dog Training Club.
Abby had a lot of health problems I guess, like diabetes, hip dyplasia, osteochondritis dessicans, chronic tonsillitis, and other stuff. She was one of those pure breed dogs that get stuff like that. She went back to heaven after only being around five years, cuz she got sick from that diabetes thing. I don't blame her, she had to pee in a cup a lot.
One of the best things for me that she did was to adopt Sarah in 1989. Sarah was her little sister but she is my Big Sister now.
Here's Sarah having a Christmas biscuit, she had teeth back then! Now she is 10 years old and they are kind of worn down. Doesn't that biscuit look good! Yummy!
Abby didn't feel good that day, and Sarah was cuddling her.
The next Christmas was 1991, and that was my First Christmas! As soon as I can find a pigsture of me, I will put it here.
