Directions to the Heavenly Dog Playground in Northampton Massachusetts
From "Downtown Northampton", the intersection of Route 5, running North-South; and Route 9, running East-West, head West on Route 9 going toward Cummington, etc.
At the intersection near Smith College, Green Street goes off to the left, and is marked as Route 66. Take Route 66, you'll pass the "Felt Building" on the left, Smith athletic grounds on the right, you'll start to go up a hill which is "Hospital Hill" where the old State Hospital is.
Shortly after that 66 goes to the left, and Burt's Pit Road goes to the right, there is a car repair place called "Metrix" at this point. Go to the right, you'll see the "Community Gardens" on the right and then in a few hundred yards will be a parking lot!
You have then arrived at the wonderful heaven of Northampton's Dog Playground!
