Over 2000 dogs died in World War I. At the end of the Vietnam War, our military left most of the American war dogs there. Approximately 2800 of the 3000 who served.
Most of the dogs have been Labrador Retrievers, and German Shepherd Dogs, like me and my first sister.
So remember the dogs, and perhaps you may enjoy these other sites we've found.
That must be the bravest dog ever I ever heard of, parachuting into Vietnam.
