Dear Friends,
Well me and Mommy learned to be more Brave from our time with Nuggett. She was very brave, and very soft....
Anyway last week we decide as a family that we would get me a Sister. I have been very depress and lonesome. So we sed we'd get a nice girl, Lab mix, between 6 months and 3 years old.
So we look at some web sites and then we decide Mommy should buzz down to MSPCA in Springfield on Fryday. She had appointments all afternoon so we went in the morning, you know, just to scope it out and get right back to work.
Well, the place was full. There were a couple girls there that fit the bill but as Mommy was leaving, this other dog said HELLO and Mom stop to pat, and read the tag, and this dog was 9 year old boy dog. So Mommy pat him and sed sorry I am looking for young girl, and he sed, feel my ears, and then he sed I Love You, well and you know how Mommy is!!!
Ha ha so she got me a biskit and we went back to work. Then after the appointments we went down there so I could take a look around. Well I really liked him, his name is Barkley, and we spent some time in a room together and then we brought him home.
It turn out he is 10, not 9, same age as me but I am six months older! He likes everything I do, kissing, hugging, biskits, cuddling, puddles, Mommy, and respect for cats.
However Mommy was a little surprise she made nice bed on floor and she was showin him and he hop in BED! He is kinda fat, like Mommy, we have to trim him down, he is 89 POUNDS, so he is going to keep us warm this winter!
He's a major lover and I am so happy, I have been smilin non stop since yesterday and my face is startin to hurt!! ha ha. Also we have all been wagging so much, my hips hurt ha ha.
He is Shepherd Mix like my furst Sister. The other part mite be Lab or Beagle. I will send pix soon.
We got so many gifts from Nugs. One important was our great Dog Doctors Family Vets in Hey den ville. We will be takin him up there next week!!! He won't want to get on the scale!!!
When we furst herd about him we said oh no he is too old but you no what there are no guarantees in life and also I think he need us and I need him and Nugs tot us how to be brave, so we were pretty scairt but we went for it anyway and we have had a wonderful 30 hours but it sure seem longer!
Hope to see you soon,
Love,
-Betty
